Your day to day as an Assistant Floor Supervisor As the Assistant Floor Supervisor at Next Step of West Michigan, you’ll be at the heart of our daily shop operations, coordinating workflow and assisting with team oversight to ensure we meet our production goals. This exciting role uniquely blends hands-on fabrication work with essential leadership responsibilities, allowing you to guide your team while actively contributing to the production process. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on the shop floor. Requirements
- Experience in woodworking fabrication, or a related production environment.
- Strong understanding of shop tool, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawing, measurement, and production documents.
- Comfortable balancing leadership duties with hands on work.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day.
