The UW AUTISM Center (UWAC) has an outstanding opportunity for a Behavior Technician to join their team. The UW Autism Center (UWAC) is within the Institute on Human Development and Disability in UW Pediatrics and is devoted to supporting families affected by autism spectrum disorders through exceptional clinical services, innovative scientific research and high-quality training. Position Purpose This Behavior Technician (Research Study Coordinator 1 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)) is part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, speech-language pathologists, board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), medical professionals, faculty, and trainees. The Behavior Technician provides clinical services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), implementing evidence-based interventions grounded in applied behavior analysis under BCBA supervision. Primary responsibilities include delivering direct interventions to children ages 12 months to 6 years in a clinic setting, accurately recording intervention data, maintaining records, and creating individualized therapy materials.
