About The Position

Beaumont Children’s Center is a pediatric care clinic dedicated to supporting children with special needs and their families throughout their unique life journey. The Behavior Technician will be part of Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families, reporting directly to a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and a Board-Certified assistant Behavior Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to implement behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician, currently enrolled in Registered Behavior Technician training, or commitment to complete Registered Behavior Technician training at the Beaumont Exceptional Families Autism Center and obtain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician
• Basic Life Support required within six months of start date

Nice To Haves

• Experience in childcare or work with children with special needs
• Mental health related experience or education
• Interest or class work in Allied Health Degrees
• Exposure to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
• Ability to model intervention for trainees and patients’ family members
