Our world-class training will prepare you for the job! What is Behavior Support? Behavior Support performs a variety of tasks related to the care of clients served by Damar. What would I be doing? Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential. Where would I work with clients? For this particular role, you could work on our Children's Residential campus located at 6067 Decatur Boulevard in Indianapolis. What are the hours ? 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm / weekend rotation every 3rd week) Weekend (7:00 am - 11:00 pm / Sat & Sun) Can pick up an optional 8 hour shift Monday-Friday ( Preferred shift may not be available at time of application.) Requirements
- Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program however, we have Direct Support Professional roles for those between 18-21 so we encourage you to apply for the Direct Support Technician role if you are not 21 or over .
- Be able to provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal offenses
