The Behavior Analyst will develop and implement programs and services to remediate behavioral and social problems for adult persons served. Core responsibilities include: Design programs and Implement/monitor systems that support people who are engaging in challenging behaviors. Participate as a team member in order to facilitate enriched quality of life, desired lifestyles, increased levels of independence and productivity, and social/physical integration. Review behavioral staff reports/plans. Participate as a member of our professional interdisciplinary team which provides assessments, intervention strategies, and consultation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating behavioral and social problems Data collection, tracking and reporting; use expertise with populations of mental health and cognitive impairments Develop and implement training for staff and caregivers Attend and participate in meetings and quality improvement activities as required Assist the support team in locating and obtaining community resources which are available to the persons served and their families Frequently observe person served, staff interactions, the environment and the implementation of supports and services during and outside of normal business hours
