Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, the Youth Development Professional (YDP) supports the delivery of BGCTM programs across all five core areas by engaging members in safe, structured, and engaging activities. This role promotes positive youth development by preparing materials, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, modeling BGCTM values, and building supportive relationships with members and staff while adhering to all safety, training, and program requirements. Our Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. These are some of the additional things you will do as a Youth Development Professional: Learn and understand BGCTM program requirements and objectives across all 5 core areas: Art, Character & Leadership Development, Education/STEM, Health & Life Skills, and Sports/Fitness/Recreation. Deliver and support activities that stimulate member participation, under Site Coordinator supervision. Interact and engage continuously with members in a positive and supportive manner.
