Position Summary: Has the responsibility to provide beauty services for the resident’s hair and scalp. Responsible for booking Elder’s appointments. Keeping stations and shop neat and clean. Assist other beauticians when an Elder is unable to hold their heads back to have their hair washed. Must decide what styles, color, perms, etc. would look good on an Elder when they are unable to speak for themselves Must be able to communicate well with the Elders and provide services to them, including perms, sets, cuts and colors. Performing manicures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent certificate of completion.
Good communication and verbal skills.
High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

New York State Beautician license preferred.
At least one year experience in the health care or beauty setting.

Responsibilities

Provide beauty services for the resident’s hair and scalp.
