Position Summary: Has the responsibility to provide beauty services for the resident’s hair and scalp.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate of completion.
• New York State Beautician license preferred.
• At least one year experience in the health care or beauty setting.
• Good communication and verbal skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION NO LONGER REQUIRED-VACCINE MANDATE HAS EXPIRED.

Nice To Haves

• New York State Beautician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for booking Elder’s appointments.
• Keeping stations and shop neat and clean.
• Assist other beauticians when an Elder is unable to hold their heads back to have their hair washed.
• Must decide what styles, color, perms, etc. would look good on an Elder when they are unable to speak for themselves
• Must be able to communicate well with the Elders and provide services to them, including perms, sets, cuts and colors.
• Performing manicures.
