About The Position

The Bean Harvest Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of all bean harvest equipment at the Clewiston shop and surrounding field operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that harvest machinery, trucks, and other essential equipment are consistently reliable, safe, and available to meet the demands of fresh produce farming. The Bean Harvest Fleet Manager will lead a team of mechanics, manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and coordinate with harvest leadership to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive experience in fleet management, agricultural equipment maintenance, or a related field; at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of agricultural and commercial equipment (tractors, trucks, harvesters, engines, and hydraulics).
Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience managing a preventative maintenance program and leading a team of mechanics.
Working knowledge of inventory control systems, maintenance tracking software, and basic budgeting practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time-sensitive conditions.
Valid driver’s license; CDL certification a plus.
