About The Position
Employee must be willing and able to work in different aspects of the beef packing industry. Ability to work in hot/humid conditions and stand for entire shift. In addition, you will be required to wear all PPE and follow food and safety protocol.
Requirements
- Must be able to wear all PPE for job requirement
- Must follow all food and safety protocols
- Please note this specific job opening is for a heavy physical which requires lifting, pushing, pulling at least 70 pounds
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash carcass in preparation for further processing.
- Use tools and machinery including, but not limited to, knives, wrap products, scales, grinders, and other hand or power tools.
- Ability to work around blood and other strong odors.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion using your hands/arms/wrist
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects
