About The Position

Prepare and cook food in a quick serve restaurant outlet with a varied menu. Duties are limited to preparation of a few basic items and normally involve operating large-volume single-purpose cooking equipment.

Requirements

Ability to work all stations to include cash register, grill, etc.
TIPS/TAM Trained required.
Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
Able to read labels and directions.
Self-directed and able to maximize use of time and resources.
Ability to work under pressure an take initiative in a fast paced environment
Dependable and meets goals.
Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 18 years old.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to walk.
The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.

Responsibilities

Take and prepare food orders from guests and maintain par levels.
Serve orders to customers at windows, counters, or tables.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity, time and temperature.
Follow menu specifications to ensure quality and consistency when preparing each product.
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Operate, clean and maintain large-volume cooking equipment such as grills or griddles.
Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for menu.
Maintain high standard of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served.
Performs routine daily cleaning, maintaining a clean work area throughout shift.
Perform table bussing and dishwashing functions as required.
Prioritizes and organized tasks for speed and quality assurance.
Other duties as assigned.
