The BDC Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is specifically trained to acquire additional inventory for the dealership by actively prospecting outside of the AutoNation Customer Network. This role supports the We’ll Buy Your Car (WBYC) marketing efforts by utilizing all available prospecting resources, including third-party websites, lead sources, previous customers, and service clientele, to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle. The Associate will have consistent interaction with customers and AutoNation dealership team members, primarily working via phone to develop relationships and make cold contact with prospects advertising their vehicles for sale online. S/he will set appointments for potential customers to visit a dealership for an onsite appraisal and facilitate the AutoNation We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process.
