Here's a glimpse of some of the responsibilities: Test and install Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance emergency responder radio coverage in buildings. Integrate BDA systems with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and ensure proper signaling and compliance. Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to project activities and progress. Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors. Requirements

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Individual must possess a valid Driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation
  • Experience with a variety of system manufacturing including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
