About The Position

They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. The Opportunity As part of the External Audit team you are expected to direct efforts in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards. As a Director you are responsible for setting the strategic direction, leading business development efforts, and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are tasked with focusing on profitability and long-term sustainable growth for the firm and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 8 years of experience
  • CPA license. International hires are required to hold the equivalent certification/credential in the selected individual's home country and will be required to meet US credential requirements after joining the firm.
