About The Position

For more than 40 years, we’ve supported individuals with developmental disabilities by creating environments where people feel valued, empowered, and connected to their communities. We are seeking a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults in TERI’s Residential and Choices for Adult Learning (CAL) programs, helping ensure the individuals we support experience greater independence, safety, and joy in their daily lives. Services are delivered through a combination of on-site residential, community-based, and limited hybrid/remote work. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 14 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Master’s degree in education, psychology, human development, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including adults with significant behavioral needs
  • At least 3 years of experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, valid California Class C driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in residential and/or community-based adult services strongly preferred
  • Training in positive behavior supports and emergency behavior management techniques (e.g., Pro-Act, CPI, ABST, PABS) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new and ongoing assessments, including functional behavior assessments and analyses
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and update Behavior Support Plans that promote safety, independence, and quality of life
  • Review data and progress to ensure supports remain effective and meaningful
  • Train, coach, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and direct support staff
  • Oversee RBT service delivery, documentation, and performance
  • Provide direct services and supports in residential and community settings as needed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings focused on participant success and well-being
  • Protect the welfare, dignity, and best interests of the individuals we support at all times
