Carolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire a full-time Battery Shop Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers and to manage the shop at our Lexington, SC location. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHOP TECHNICIAN As a Shop Technician, you are completely responsible for the shop that you are assigned. This allows you to have full autonomy and the ability to manage things the way you want to. On a daily basis you are responsible for incoming and outgoing batteries and chargers. It's your job to do battery evaluations that come in from the field to determine repairs or if the customer needs a new battery. You are also in the drivers seat when it comes to keeping your shop clean and creating an environment that you can be proud of. Our company relies on our shop technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet batteries as well as customer batteries. Your favorite part of the job is taking ownership of your shop, keeping up with incoming and outgoing work, working efficiently, making repairs, and keeping things flowing.
