Position Summary: Maintain, service and support specific batteries and equipment, at the customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer requirements are met.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
At least one year of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components; experience with batteries is strongly preferred.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height

Nice To Haves

Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications

Responsibilities

Pick-up and deliver batteries and chargers, install new batteries, chargers and related equipment.
Travel to customer site, diagnose, trouble-shoot and repair customer's battery equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures, maintaining positive customer relations.
Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to schedule, established procedures and cost guidelines at customer's facility.
Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow MobileTech Procedures as directed by management.
Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used as required.
Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies procedures.
Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationship with customers and co-workers.
Keep van clean, serviceable and in fully-stocked condition at all times.
Maintain the van's interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.
Attend meeting, training classes and other company activities as required.
Maintain uniforms in order to look neat and professional at all times.
Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately.
Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by supervisor at all times.
Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
