Baseball/Softball Team Manager, SC1BBSBMGRPE (SP26)
About The Position
Assist in all operations of the women's softball team. Day-to-day operations of the softball team. Daily pick-up and return of softball practice equipment and uniforms. Game day operations, including set-up and take down of equipment. Entering game day stats. Practice operations, including set-up and take down of equipment. Game day team uniform pick-up, dispersal and return. General maintenance of baseball/softball team equipment. Practice/Game day filming. Daily transport filled water and ice coolers to practice and return of empty coolers. Maintain equipment inventory of all softball uniforms and equipment. Must be able to attend all practices and games. Must be able to travel with the team. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
- If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
- If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
- Work experience and/or participation in or with athletics required.
- Knowledge of various baseball/softball equipment required.
- Good organizational and communication skills required.
