About The Position

To support the Summit Bechtel Reserve through exceptional facility care, logistical coordination, and residential services that enable safe, clean, and welcoming environments for all programs, participants, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to obtain Summit Driving Permit
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height/weight guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Base Camp staff and assign daily tasks for cleaning, prep, and operations
  • Maintain supply inventory and report shortages to the Base Camp Director
  • Ensure staff training, productivity, and adherence to safety procedures
  • Lead team in power washing, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown of Base Camp HQ and seasonal offices
  • Inspect outdoor facilities for cleanliness, readiness, and proper maintenance
  • Support arrival/departure operations and resolve team issues as point of contact
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
