Base Area Snow Removal - Winter 25.26 Seasonal - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY Base Area Services needs help this winter shoveling the walks and assisting with litter control. Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. Employee is provided with uniform. Available shifts are 5am – 1pm.
Requirements
- Must work in adverse weather conditions
- Communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a positive, guest friendly manner
- Report to work timely, dressed, and prepared for your daily assignment
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards
- Must be a minimum 18 years of age
- Lift 50 lbs. frequently with snow removal
- Bend and lift heavy snow on days requiring snow removal (shoveling)
- Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Remain standing for extended periods of time in one outdoor station
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurability standards
Responsibilities
- Provide traffic control of vehicles entering parking lots
- Assist with litter control
- Provide snow removal and ice build-up prevention around base area
- Driving company vehicles, when necessary
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
