Provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading of the Building Automation System (BAS) for a 5.5M sqft facility R&D facility. Must be able to understand HVAC equipment, theory of operation, electrical (controls), programming, electrical prints, graphical displays, and communications / networking. Must be able to document changes and maintain configuration control for the code and drawings as applicable. Must be able to use stairs, ladders and work in and around equipment in a plant environment. Attendance is critical - normal 40 hour work week, but occasional overtime may be required (supporting a 24X7 operation). Must be proficient in using a computer. The ability to research, develop, and implement solutions for various problems or in support of upgrades related to aging / obsolete controls infrastructure will be key to this position. The ability to estimate work, track and communicate progress, adjust plans or approaches based upon new information or client feedback, set technical direction, develop alternative approaches when necessary, and similar skills are the secondary requirements for a successful candidate. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, team-oriented, organized, able to communicate to all levels of the organization, and able to meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
