About The Position

Branch Manager – EMCS Division Location: Dallas / Fort Worth, TX Company: Southwest Electrical Contracting Service LLC (SWECS) Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually (DOE) Lead the Market. Own the Results. Build the Future. Southwest Electrical Contracting Service LLC (SWECS) is seeking a proven Branch Manager to take full ownership of our EMCS Division in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This is a senior leadership role designed for an industry expert who thrives on accountability, execution, and growth. As Branch Manager, you are the face of SWECS in your market—responsible for driving revenue, leading high-performing teams, controlling financial outcomes, and delivering complex Building Automation projects at the highest level. This role is not for hands-off managers; its for leaders who build, execute, and win.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industry
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with electrical installation of HVAC control systems
  • Expert-level knowledge of estimating, sales, project execution, and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under pressure
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Proven experience hiring, developing, and holding teams accountable
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clean driving record and ability to operate a SWECS company vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Act as SWECS authorized decision-maker and competent person for the DFW EMCS market
  • Drive branch growth through strategic leadership, customer relationships, and operational excellence
  • Represent SWECS professionally while setting the tone for culture, performance, and accountability
  • Oversee the procurement and execution of all EMCS projects within the branch
  • Negotiate scope, contract terms, and pricing to ensure profitable outcomes
  • Develop detailed project budgets and secure Superintendent buy-in before execution
  • Report monthly cost-to-complete forecasts and financial performance to the EMCS Division Manager
  • Prepare and submit monthly billing projections with accuracy and accountability
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and retain top-tier talent to support market growth
  • Conduct annual performance reviews in collaboration with the Branch Superintendent
  • Recommend wage adjustments based on performance, market conditions, and company goals
  • Perform regular job walks with the Branch Superintendent to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • Enforce SWECS policies, procedures, and industry best practices across all projects
