About The Position

As a Bartender at Villa Restaurant Group, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a wide variety of beverages, providing Exceptional Guest Service, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. You will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests through your bartending skills and engaging personality.

Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, mixology, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a team player mentality.
  • Familiarity with local liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying trays of beverages and supplies.
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching.

Responsibilities

  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks, according to recipes and established standards.
  • Guest Service: Provide Exceptional Guest Service by greeting Guests, taking orders, and making menu recommendations. Engage with Guests, build rapport, and create a positive dining experience.
  • Bar Setup and Maintenance: Set up the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked with all necessary supplies, including liquor, glassware, garnishes, and utensils. Monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Mixology: Create unique and innovative cocktails, staying updated on industry trends. Ensure the correct use of ingredients, techniques, and equipment to consistently deliver high-quality beverages.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card payments, and operate the cash register accurately. Adhere to cash-handling policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service and food safety practices. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the bar area.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other restaurant Team Members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure a seamless dining experience for Guests. Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay informed about the restaurant's menu, promotions, and special events. Share this information with customers to enhance their dining experience.
