About The Position

Position Overview
Edina Country Club is now hiring Bartenders to support our Dining Room and Pub venues. This position is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy member interaction, and take pride in delivering high-quality beverage service.

Bartenders are primarily responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming, friendly, and efficient bar experience for members and guests. This role also supports overall service by collaborating closely with servers and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Availability for evening shifts and mandatory weekend shifts is required.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required (1 Year)
• Must be at least 18 years of age (or as required by state law for alcohol service)
• Ability to effectively communicate with members, guests, and team members
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities, even in challenging situations
• Mandatory availability for weekends
• Evening availability required

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards.
• Engage with members and guests to provide a welcoming and personalized bar experience.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specials.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all state and local liquor laws.
• Accurately process orders and handle transactions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Monitor guest experience and anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, or lifting
• Other duties as assigned.
