About The Position

Symphony Park, a premier Independent Living Resort, is seeking dedicated and professional bartenders to join our Food and Beverage team. The bartender will be responsible for providing exceptional drink service in our resort's bars and lounges. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mixology, enjoys interacting with people, and strives to provide an enjoyable experience for our residents and guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bartending role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, with creativity and attention to detail.
Maintain an extensive knowledge of drink recipes, wine pairings, and the latest trends in mixology.
Provide a friendly, engaging, and professional service experience to residents and guests.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Manage inventory and stock supplies, including ordering and receiving products.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
Process payments and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
Build rapport with residents and guests, remembering their preferences and making recommendations.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless service experience.
Participate in regular training and staff meetings to enhance skills and stay updated on resort offerings.
Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, and annual training.
Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
