As Huey’s bartender, you will work in a fast-paced environment, taking and serving orders fast and efficiently. You are delivering exceptional service that mirrors our cooking team. Huey's, a locally owned and operated business, has been a staple of the Memphis community for 50 years. We're known for our blues, brews, burgers, excellent customer service, community outreach, and family environment. Bartenders are responsible for providing quick, friendly service to all customers. Promptly greet guests and take and deliver food and beverage orders. Bartenders must also know the product to provide customers with detailed information to help them select.

Requirements

Must be 18
MUST HAVE A VALID ABC card
Teamwork skills
Attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Prior experience in a food-serving establishment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the bar
Making service drinks in a timely and accurate manner
Taking customers’ food and drink orders
Collaborating with the kitchen and service staff for the prompt and correct delivery of orders
Memorizing the menu and recommending appetizers, meals, and drinks
Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
