Bartender Responsibilities As a Bartender at Arzola’s, you’ll be a key part of delivering Legendary Hospitality to every guest—at the bar, in the dining room, and beyond. This role goes far beyond making drinks. You will:

Requirements

  • Team-oriented hospitality professional with prior serving or bar experience
  • Strong communication, listening, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
  • Calm, patient, and composed under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or upselling experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver our promise of Legendary Hospitality to every guest
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
  • Prep all ingredients, garnishes, and supplies to ensure successful service
  • Present menus and provide detailed recommendations following our Steps of Service
  • Suggest food and beverage pairings, daily specials, and promotions using our Suggestive Selling program
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS and loyalty systems
  • Serve bar guests while supporting teammates during service
  • Build meaningful relationships with both new and repeat guests
  • Be knowledgeable in our food, beverage offerings, and Queso Club Loyalty Program
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, and service expectations
  • Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and health department regulations
