If you love great food, tequila, craft cocktails, and creating memorable guest experiences, we want to meet you. What You'll Do As a bartender at La Viva Tex Mex, you will:

Able to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
Passionate about cocktails, tequila, and hospitality
Organized and detail-oriented
A team player who supports the entire restaurant
Professional and dependable
1+ year bartending experience preferred
Knowledge of classic cocktails and margaritas
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant
Strong communication and guest service skills
TABC certification required (or ability to obtain)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

Prepare craft cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy and speed
Engage guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant with genuine hospitality
Create an energetic, welcoming bar atmosphere
Maintain full knowledge of our drink menu, tequila/mezcal selection, and featured cocktails
Support servers by preparing bar drinks quickly and accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar at all times
Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
Assist with opening and closing bar duties
Work as a team with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver an outstanding guest experience
