Working Environment: Working Ranch & Guest Hospitality SUMMARY: The Bartender is responsible for the accurate and friendly dispensing of beverages to the ranch guests. Bartenders have extensive guest contact and do much to influence the quality of the ranch experience. High standards of the ranch must be maintained both in mixing drinks and interacting with the patrons. Responsible for prudent judgment and exercising legally required action in refusing to serve minors or intoxicated patrons, and for controlling inappropriate behavior. Rules established by management are to be scrupulously obeyed.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months bartender or barback experience
  • 21 years or older
  • Must be or become Tips Certified (C Lazy U will support certification)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and members
  • Ability to produce in a fast paced, tight quartered and team-based environment
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier
  • Must be available to work Memorial Day through Labor Day

Responsibilities

  • Mix and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at multiple bars, both indoors and outdoors
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, including glasses, counter, and bar equipment
  • Stock bar daily
  • Serve wine at dinner
  • Close down and lock up the bar at night, including closing guest tabs and communicating night notes to supervisor
  • Conduct inventory of liquor, mixes, and supplies
  • Learn the names of guests, members and staff by name
  • Assist other departments when necessary
  • Performs all related duties as assigned.
