Bartender
About The Position
Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a Bartender to deliver outstanding beverage service within our Food & Beverage department. This is a guest-facing role for someone personable, skilled behind the bar, and who understands that great hospitality is just as important as a great cocktail. Our ideal candidate is an experienced bartender who brings professionalism, energy, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. As a Bartender, you'll be the face of our bar program — crafting cocktails, building rapport with members, and working alongside our Food & Beverage team to deliver a seamless dining and social experience.
Requirements
- Warm, engaging personality with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-volume service
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends — required for this role
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, club, or upscale environment preferred
- Food handler/food safety certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to club standards
- Provide attentive, personalized service to members and guests
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, drink offerings, and daily specials
- Set up, maintain, and break down the bar before and after each shift
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, requisitions, and proper storage
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all applicable laws
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area at all times
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
