About The Position

Muse at Sentry is seeking a Part-time bartender with a passion to increase his/her knowledge of contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine. A professional and friendly demeanor is required. What You'll Do As a Bartender at Muse, you will: Greet guests, takes beverage orders, and prepare drinks as requested. Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and promotes a positive image of Sentry facilities. Maintain a high-level of knowledge in wine, beer, mixed drink recipes, and other beverages. Check identification of guests to verify the age requirement for purchase of alcohol. Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare and maintain freshest garnishes for drinks. Offer and service the full restaurant menu to guests seated at the bar where appropriate. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. Collect payments for beverages served and balance all receipts.

Requirements

• Age requirement of 21+ required
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous bartending experience is preferred
• Must be able to obtain a certification on responsible beverage service
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Have or be in the process of attaining a bartender’s license
• Ability to work nights. Weekends and Holidays.
