Takes food and beverage orders, mixes and pours beverages, serves food and beverages, busses tables, calculates, presents and processes checks while constantly providing exceptional service to all members, resort guests and co-workers. Manages all aspects of the bar and bar program resort wide. This role involves possessing proficient knowledge of liquor quality and preparation of drinks, staying updated on new and revised beverage recipes, and assisting servers with bar knowledge (proper glassware, correct garnish, cocktail ingredients, etc.). The Bartender is also responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and storing bar items according to procedures. Key duties include greeting guests, escorting them to seats, presenting menus, creating a welcoming atmosphere, answering questions about menu items and beverages, informing customers of daily specials, taking orders, checking identification for alcoholic beverages, entering orders into the POS system, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining table appearance, preparing and presenting checks, clearing tables and bar items, collecting payments, providing continuous service until guests leave, and supporting Food & Beverage teams as needed.
