About The Position

The company is seeking a Bartender for Poolside Bar Service at a luxury high-rise apartment building in Downtown, Austin. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional service to residents. The role requires shifts on Fridays 5:00-9:00PM, Saturdays 2:00-8:00PM, Sundays 1:00-5:00PM, and some weeknights typically 5:00-9:00PM. This position is ideal for bartenders looking for a more relaxed, resort-style atmosphere.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mixology skills and knowledge of drink recipes
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
• Ability to handle pressure and multitask in busy settings
• Basic math and cash-handling accuracy
• Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Prior bartending experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and glassware
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with laws and company policy
• Manage cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age
• Restock bar inventory, garnishes, and supplies throughout the shift
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and inventory tasks
