About The Position

This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York. Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC Dune Deck Beach Club is seeking seasonal Bartender to join the Food & Beverage - Service Department. This role is available April 20, 2026 – October 7th, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Requirements

  • Twelve (12) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Required to work indoors and outdoors.
  • Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours.
  • Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull.
  • May be required to lift and carry items that are sometimes greater than 50 pounds.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Responsibilities

  • Bartender will execute craft cocktails and continuously create and present new ideas to management.
  • Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff.
  • Greet all guests and members promptly and politely, and by name whenever possible.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar/ bar storage areas at all times.
  • Execute cocktail recipes and demonstrate ability to follow recipes for syrups and all house-made ingredients.
  • Enter all transactions accordingly into point-of-sale system and issue accurate checks to members and guests.
  • Display extensive knowledge of all beverages and ingredients, as well as recommendations for pairings of food.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine and ability to make recommendations from the club wine list.
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions.
