About The Position
Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home. We are in search of passionate personalities to become the face of The Adolphus hotel’s iconic Rodeo Bar. This joint first opened in 1981 and served Dallasites and visitors for nearly four decades. We are now re-opening the Rodeo bar with a new menu, new vibe and back room for private gatherings while honoring the heart and soul of the original concept : “Texas grit and authenticity."
Requirements
- Prior experience as a bartender is required
- An extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine pairing options required
- A proactive and thoughtful nature
- Professional demeanor and thoughtful nature
Responsibilities
- Authentically acknowledge and welcome guests with emphatic and warm hospitality
- Remain curious and knowledgeable about all product and service standards in order to elevate each guest experience
- Maintain a level of efficiency excellence while keeping an eye on cleanliness and organization
- Remaining mindful of appropriate verbiage and demeanor with team members and guests at all times
- Responsible alcohol service is of top priority
