About The Position

The Westside Pub is looking to expand our awesome management team! This role will be a combination of managing shifts as well as serving an bartending shifts. Along with overseeing that front of house hourly co-workers take care of our guests, you will keep the front lines rolling. Your enthusiasm for our product will be contagious and it's your responsibility to motivate your co-workers. Your goal is to make sure that our guests are happy; that they are served their food and beverages up to company standards. Reporting to the General Manager as well as the AGM/Pub Managers, you will also be held accountable for writing up the end-of-shift reports covering daily labor, food control and sales, ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, as well as company and local health and safety codes and other assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Run opening, mid, and closing shifts as the Manager-On-Duty (MOD) for 1-2 shifts a week, plus more as needed by management team
  • Address any and all guest issues while acting as the MOD
  • Avoid legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues.
  • Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
