About The Position

Outbound Sedona is preparing to welcome guests in May 2026, and we are building our opening team now. We are thoughtfully hiring several months in advance to allow time for training, collaboration, and creating the culture that will define our guest experience from day one. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a resort opening and help shape the standards, service style, and team culture together. Our opening team members will play a foundational role in setting expectations, supporting one another, and creating memorable experiences for our very first guests. While the resort is scheduled to open in May 2026, selected candidates may begin onboarding and training in the months leading up to opening. Specific start dates will be discussed during the interview proces. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service during weddings, corporate events, retreats, and social gatherings at the resort. This role ensures timely, professional, and engaging bar service while maintaining compliance with Arizona liquor laws and resort standards. This position requires strong guest engagement skills, accuracy in drink preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two or more years’ experience as Bartender preferred.
  • “TIPS” or equivalent certification.
  • Must be skilled in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all drink orders for guests according to specified recipes.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function including pricing, characteristics of beverages, designated glassware to be used, VIPS, etc..
  • Abide by state liquor regulations, including those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Transport bar unit with all supplies and equipment to assigned function area and set up as specified.
  • Follow all guest billing, payment processing, and cash handling responsibilities according to policy.
