About The Position

In this role, you are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering an engaging bar experience. You bring strong knowledge of mixology, beverage pairings, and service etiquette while ensuring every guest interaction reflects the high hospitality standards of Snowmass Club. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere, takes pride in organization and attention to detail, and has a passion for both service and creativity behind the bar.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of bartending or similar food and beverage experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of mixology, wine, beer, and spirits
  • Professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced bar and restaurant environment
  • Alcohol beverage certification preferred
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Must be of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to work in hot, humid, fast-paced, and occasionally noisy environments

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive and supportive team culture while demonstrating professionalism in every interaction
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality to members and guests
  • Support teammates during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations across the dining room and bar
  • Maintain a welcoming and engaging bar environment for members and guests
  • Mix, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests according to standard recipes
  • Prepare drinks ordered by food and beverage servers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mixology, wine presentation, and beverage pairings
  • Maintain accurate records and organization of liquors, beers, and wines to ensure proper inventory levels
  • Inspect the bar prior to service to ensure adequate supplies, glassware, and equipment are available
  • Follow all laws, Club policies, and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service
  • Inform management if continued alcohol service to a guest becomes a concern
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Club events, dining outlets, and operating hours
  • Deliver drinks to dining areas when needed and assist with table service during busy periods
  • Bus tables or assist with seating guests when necessary to support the dining room team
  • Attend pre-shift lineups, staff meetings, and required training sessions
  • Assist with developing creative cocktail offerings for Snowmass Club outlets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and service stations
  • Ensure food items and garnishes are properly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated
  • Reset tables and maintain cleanliness in bar seating areas throughout the shift
  • Follow all safety and sanitation standards to prevent health hazards
  • Understand and perform required roles during emergency situations
