About The Position

The Bars Kitchen Worker is responsible for cleaning floors, floor drains, stainless steel counter tops, soda guns, and sinks in the bar areas of the property. The Bars Kitchen Worker will also remove, clean, and return floor mats, remove dirty linen, and clean and return glassware to proper locations. Responsibilities include the set up and breakdown of dish machines in the bar areas for next use. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions include practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrating AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. This role involves cleaning stations and bars, including breaking down and setting up machines, cleaning floors, floor mats, and walls. It also requires removing all soiled linen from stations and storage according to policies and procedures, maintaining cleanliness of work stations, and communicating with Sanitation department management when assistance is needed. Additional duties include removing trash and transporting it to the compactor, which involves lifting and maneuvering trash cans, bags, and boxes. Monthly deep cleaning of bar areas is also required, including removing and cleaning glass machines, emptying refrigerators for cleaning, and clearing shelves and bar displays for cleaning. The worker must maintain basic knowledge of the use of chemicals for cleaning and sanitation.

Requirements

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and management in both written and verbal form.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
