Barrel Host
About The Position
Gunstock Mountain Resort is looking for hosts for The Barrel Restaurant. The Host will serve an important role in establishing a pleasant dining experience for guests. They will support and work as a partner to restaurant servers, by constantly monitoring, guiding, and controlling the flow of guests onto The Barrel, based on timing and level business, so that they are seated in a manner that complements each server's ability to properly attend to them. The Barrel will be open Thursdays through Sundays. (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). The Host will assign guests to tables suitable for the size of each group, escort them to their seats and provide them with menus. They will inspect dining and serving areas to ensure proper setup and cleanliness and may assist customers in answering questions.
Requirements
- Previous experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate with others.
- Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
