About The Position

WE ARE SEEKING SKILLED AND FRIENDLY BARISTAS TO JOIN OUR TEAM. THE KOFI HAUS BARISTA WILL GREET CUSTOMERS, TAKE ORDERS, PREPARE AND SERVE HOT AND COLD BEVERAGES, PASTRIES, BREAKFAST MENU ITEMS AND MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORKSPACE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, BE ABLE TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT, AND HAVE A PASSION FOR COFFEE AND TEA. Requirements

• Ability to communicate with customers in a positive, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a clean working environment and personal appearance.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience.
• CA Food Handler card or willing to obtain it.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a coffee shop or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make coffee, hot chocolate, specialty espresso coffee items to order.
• Operate espresso machine as instructed.
• Operate point of sales cash register system.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Count banks beginning and end of every shift.
• Prepare deli sandwiches and other quick service food items.
• Restock food and beverage supplies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary food service environment.
• Inform Manager when food items need to be ordered.
• Follows opening and closing procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
