About The Position
The Barista is responsible for creating exceptional guest focused Barista to provide experiences through the preparation and service of high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. This role combines product knowledge, efficiency, and hospitality to ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, accurate, and memorable.
Requirements
- Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to brand standards
- Provide friendly, engaging, and personalized service to all guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- Operate POS system accurately for orders and transactions
- Educate guests on menu offerings, including seasonal and specialty items
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment care
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
