The Barista position is an On-Call role located within the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center at its Starbucks kiosk called STEAM. The ideal candidate will provide world-class customer service by delivering timely and friendly coffee bar service, engaging in suggestive selling, maintaining product presentation standards, and ensuring coffee bar cleanliness.

Nice To Haves

Six months previous experience as a Barista, especially if it was a Starbucks

Responsibilities

Provide world-class customer service by delivering timely and friendly coffee bar service
Suggestive selling
Maintaining product presentation standards
Maintaining coffee bar cleanliness
Greet guests with a smile and make them feel welcome
Provide outstanding service by taking orders, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring accurate delivery of food and beverages
Demonstrate knowledge of Starbucks coffee/beverages and accurate preparation of beverages
Process transactions (cash, credit card and room charge) in the POS system
Complete all side work and opening/closing duties
Complete all paperwork associated with closing cashier at the end of the shift
Maintain knowledge of the property and local events in order to answer guest inquiries
