About The Position

Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffees, espressos, teas, and specialty café drinks to brand standards. Warm and serve pastries, breads, and quick-serve food items. Provide knowledgeable, welcoming service and share product details with guests. Operate POS system and handle cash accurately. Set up, stock, and maintain clean, organized stations and displays (including allergen separation). Follow FIFO, dating, food safety, and sanitation standards. Weigh, grind, and package coffee beans to guest specifications. Maintain calm, professional service during high-volume periods. Communicate effectively with management and pastry team regarding inventory and needs. Keep storage, walk-ins, and work areas clean and organized. Assist with deliveries, restocking, cleaning, and side work. Maintain regular, reliable attendance and proper uniform standards. Qualifications Passion for coffee, tea, and guest service. Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure. 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred. Experience with 4-star service standards preferred. Basic math skills required. Food Handling License preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to bend, reach, carry, and work in a fast-paced café environment.
