  • Availability on Saturdays, weekends, and holidays as required
  • California Food Handler Certification (must obtain upon hire)
  • Completion of pre-employment assessments (sent via email)
  • Participation in a video interview as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage guests warmly, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and solution-oriented customer service
  • Represent Kuppa Joy’s values through professionalism, teamwork, and attitude
  • Resolve guest concerns respectfully and escalate when appropriate
  • Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages according0 to company recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in drink preparation
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn about coffee, brewing methods, and product knowledge
  • Operate POS/register systems accurately and responsibly
  • Follow all cash handling and register procedures
  • Support team members during peak periods to ensure smooth café operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, café areas, and equipment
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Complete required trainings and certifications in a timely manner
