About The Position

The Thru-Tubing Specialist is responsible for driving business development in the North Eastern USA for a new product line, promoting superior service quality, and ensuring timely completion of field paperwork. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, performing sales calls, and working at various wellsite locations to conduct operations such as fishing, milling, toe preps, cleanout, acid wash, and nitrogen lift. The specialist will also train and mentor new employees, ensure compliance with all regulations and standards, provide technical support, and accurately record job logs and other necessary documents. Direct communication with the District Manager is required to ensure high service quality and provide feedback on tool performance. The specialist must also be able to calculate on-the-job parameters like flow rates, velocities, and snubbing loads.

Requirements

Fully compliant with ISO and API QHSE standards and work methods
Ability to travel to various wellsite locations
Ability to perform fishing, milling, toe preps, cleanout, acid wash, and nitrogen lift operations
Strong understanding of downhole dynamics
Ability to calculate on the job parameters such as flow rates, velocities and snubbing loads

Responsibilities

Drive WOS efforts in the North Eastern USA to promote and pursue of new business opportunities for the newly incorporated product line
Promote and develop a culture of superior service quality to support customer needs and relations
Has a responsibility to ensure field paperwork is correctly completed and that tickets are completed in a timely manner
Fully compliant with ISO and API QHSE standards and work methods
Ensure that service quality is maintained during operations
Building and maintaining customer relationships and required to perform sales calls when necessary
Required to work at the wellsite
Train and mentor new employees
Ensure work is performed in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
Ability to travel to various wellsite locations and perform fishing, milling, toe preps, cleanout, acid wash, and nitrogen lift operations
Advise and support customers on proper procedures and ensure that tools are operated within the operating guidelines
Occasionally transport and deliver downhole tools to and from wellsite
Make up and break down downhole tools at the wellsite
Ensure all job procedures are followed
Record and prepare accurate job logs, time sheets, BHA diagrams, safety meeting and other documents
Be in direct contact with District Manager to ensure jobs are completed with the highest degree of service quality
Plan fishing, milling, toe preps, cleanout, acid wash, and nitrogen lift operations
Provide feedback to District Manager on tool performance
Provide technical support and have a strong understanding of downhole dynamics
Calculate on the job parameters such as flow rates, velocities and snubbing loads
Ensure all reporting requirements are done in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by management
