This position involves making and serving coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. The Barista will handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations, and interact with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner. Essential duties include preparing espresso orders, accurately entering orders into a POS device, accepting payments, replenishing condiments and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation, and serving customers efficiently. The role also involves explaining menu items and merchandising display foods attractively. This role is for the Fall Semester for a new Starbucks on campus at the University of Texas - Dallas.
