About The Position

As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with consistency and flair. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, whether they’re starting their day or enjoying a post-dinner espresso.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista in a high-end or fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
  • A passion for hospitality and guest interaction
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean all kitchen equipment.
  • The ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally throughout shift.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Take drink orders, prepare hot and cold beverages, and serve them promptly and accurately.
  • Lift and transport coffee and hot water pots, food trays and containers, merchandise, and other supplies necessary to maintain daily operations of the coffee shop.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling while processing customer transactions alongside other assigned duties.
  • Process transactions through the POS system efficiently and accurately, including counting back correct change to guests.
  • Prepare and serve food items such as heating sandwiches and other hot menu offerings, as well as portioning and scooping ice cream and cold treats in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all Four Seasons and Health Department food, beverage, and safety standards, including maintaining a current Arizona Food Handler Card.
  • Complete opening procedures, including setting up coffee equipment, food displays, and merchandise presentation.
  • Provide guests with information, assistance, and directions as requested, maintain familiarity with hotel services, and communicate hours of operation.
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating food and beverage equipment and promptly report any accidents or injuries to Security.
  • Stock, restock, and organize retail merchandise to ensure a well-maintained workspace and service level consistent with Four Seasons standards.
  • Communicate pass‑on information verbally and/or in writing to keep team members informed of relevant updates and situations.
  • Manage lost and found items in accordance with Four Seasons policies and the hotel’s Security procedures.
  • Safely handle, store, and use all chemicals in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, professionally, and with poise, ensuring management is informed of the situation and resolution.
  • Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned by hotel management or leadership.
