About The Position

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Barista to prepare custom beverages and provide great customer service to our customers and guests in our full-service coffee house in our Bolingbrook factory showroom and corporate office.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of prior experience in a barista or food service role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with guests as well as other departments within the company
  • Strong multitasking and organization skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional and memorable customer service experience for guests and employees by acknowledging and interacting with all guests in a positive and friendly manner
  • Make and serve beverages and pastries in the café to customers, employees, and guests
  • Travel locally to other company buildings to set up/maintain coffee areas as needed
  • Serve food and beverages during executive meetings and company events as needed
  • Maintain proper safety and sanitation standards while preparing and serving food and beverages
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the café at all times by completing various cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and washing/polishing dishes
  • Perform coffee house opening and closing tasks by stocking various ingredients and supplies, and putting away product deliveries
  • Confirm all containers and products are stocked and labeled appropriately
  • Work a varied schedule consisting of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours as business demands
  • Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
