About The Position

Settle into the heart of Times Square. The perfect setting for any occasion, the Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye offer bold New York flavors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and bustling views under the lights of Times Square. Gather pre and post-show, catch-up with friends, or take in the hustle and bustle of New York City. Baristas are responsible for the preparation of coffee beverages. The ideal candidate must thrive in a high volume environment, while working closely with their co-workers in a team oriented atmosphere.

Requirements

Experience working as a barista in a similar environment
Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position

Responsibilities

Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
Possess a passion for coffee and ability to prepare classic espresso beverages (cappuccinos, macchiatos, cortados etc.), as well as a familiarity with current trends in the specialty coffee and tea industry
Demonstrate an ability to dial in espresso and pull great shots consistently with the ability to create latte art
Work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Interact and communicate with all colleagues and guests with genuine hospitality
Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success
